Salt Lake City Wedding Florist
There are certain questions that always come up when searching for a Salt Lake City wedding florist who can bring your wedding vision to life! In fact, we rounded up a list of 25 questions you should ask your wedding florist, at this link. We thought it would be fun to take a reverse approach and provide you with the answers to the top 5 questions our couples always ask. Keep reading for more.
1. How far in advance should I book my Salt Lake City Wedding Florist?
At a minimum, a least six months in advance. However, you can book your Salt Lake City wedding florist as soon as your wedding date is secured with a venue. The most important thing to remember is that florists will only take on a specific number of weddings for a certain date. So if you want to work with a specific Salt Lake City wedding florist, it doesn’t hurt to reach out to them in advance!
2. Have you worked at my venue before?
Fair question and one we are happy to answer! If you are booking a wedding venue in Salt Lake City, we have more than likely worked there as a wedding florist. However, hiring a wedding florist who has not yet worked at your chosen venue doesn’t have to be a deal breaker. In the wedding industry, we have what is called a “walk through”. Sometimes this happens with couples through their wedding planner, but sometimes it happens when wedding pros visit the venue on their own. While the chances are good that we have worked at your wedding venue in Salt Lake City, even if we haven’t, we can still tour the venue as a vendor to best understand the floor plan and layout.
Wedding venues we love & have worked at include:
- La Caille
- River Bottoms Ranch
- Twenty & Creek
- Pendry Park
- And many, many more!
3. I want my wedding bouquet to look like (this), can you create that?
If you have photos or inspiration of the wedding bouquet you have in mind, that’s great! We can provide feedback on how to bring your bouquet to life within your budget as well as your chosen color palette. But we might also ask you what your dress looks like. Your wedding bouquet should always work to enhance your wedding day look. After all, it will practically become an extension of you on your wedding day. But, we want to achieve that without detracting from your gorgeous wedding gown.
3. I noticed on your website you talk about repurposing florals, can you explain that?
Of course! So just to be clear, the flowers you will receive are fresh and unique to you. In other words, we are not talking about providing you with flowers from another event. Here’s what we mean when we say "repurposing florals". Many times, our couples come to us with a budget that has very little flexibility, which we are happy to work with. But they want something specific for their wedding day. In those instances, we work with them to create pieces that can easily be moved from their ceremony to their reception space. This helps maximize their budget while also providing the most impactful floral experience for their wedding day. Aisle arrangements can easily be moved to your guest’s table tops, and your ceremony arch or arbor can be placed behind your sweetheart table.
4. I know we want flowers for our wedding day but I don’t know where to start!
Not to worry! As a Salt Lake City Florist, we are also designers. This allows us to provide you with personalized recommendations after asking you a few basic questions. We’ll want to know about your ceremony and reception space, your attire, and any other decor you have already planned for the day. If you haven’t gotten around to decor yet, not to worry. We’ll ask you a few more questions to pinpoint your unique sense of wedding day style in order to provide you with the most aesthetically pleasing florals for your best day ever!
