River Bottoms Ranch Midway Utah
River Bottoms Ranch is a unique indoor/outdoor wedding venue located in Wasatch County. The combined space allows you to host your wedding ceremony and reception all in one location. Thus creating an immersive wedding day experience. Ceremonies at River Bottoms Ranch take place on their lawn. Here, lush fields surround their gambrel barn and provide breathtaking ridgeline views of Mt. Timapangos off in the distance. It’s an unforgettable outdoor space to say I do as your guests look on. However, because one of the main attractions of the ceremony spaces is the views, it’s important not to obstruct these views with the use of floral designs like arches and arbors. Which will only impede the backdrop of your wedding photos.
For the wedding featured here, we worked with our couple on creating a floral nest. A ring of florals, within the couple's selected color palette, placed on the ground at the altar of their ceremony. This low structure provided our couple with stunning florals for their wedding ceremony while allowing those majestic ridgeline views to hang out in the backdrop of their cherished wedding photos. Additionally, the floral nest we created for the ceremony altar was comprised of several individual arrangements. Once their wedding ceremony was complete, we moved these arrangements indoors to the grand staircase at River Bottoms Ranch to create a visually striking scene for our couple and their guests.
White Gambrel Barn
The indoor ceremony space at River Bottoms Ranch is a newly built all-white gambrel barn. The barn is a modern take on a classic farmhouse-style reception space and provides a ‘blank canvas’ for couples to get creative with their wedding day vision. In fact, inside the barn, hanging from the high ceilings, you’ll find open-frame chandeliers. These chandeliers are one of the main focal points within the reception space, lending themselves to the overall design and theming of your wedding.
If you plan on getting married at River Bottoms Ranch, we highly recommend adding floral arrangements to these chandeliers. Doing so will tie together the overall design of your space and add an extra layer of dramatic scenery to your photographs and dining experience. Our bride and groom opted to outfit these chandeliers with rich greenery for their fall wedding. We used 'Smilax' to drape over the chandelier while adding some depth and texture through dangling vines.
The Grand Staircase
Undoubtedly, the grand staircase at River Bottoms Ranch is utterly magnificent. It's a popular location within the venue for wedding day portraits. However, it’s also the main focal point of the venue. Lining the way for our newlyweds, we created lush floral arrangements using a mixture of earthy shaded roses for the banister of this staircase. Additionally, moveable floral arrangements were used to accent the stairs, making it the perfect location for our bride and groom to make a grand entrance, as they met their guests for an evening spent in celebration.
