Indian Wedding Flowers Utah

The wedding editorial below features bold-colored wedding flowers for a co-mingling of Indian tradition and Western culture. Vibrant colored stems curated this artistic vision, of Indian wedding flowers at the Salt Lake Valley wedding venue, Siempre.

Traditionally, Indian wedding flowers are crafted from marigolds and roses. But, a modern twist was brought forth on a classic South Asian wedding. We worked to create an ombre design by adding bold shades of pink, side by side with pastel pink, as well as bright creamy yellow florals. Correspondingly, red roses paired with the color palette to add an infusion of the traditional tone seen in Indian weddings.

While Western weddings typically lean toward white, South Asian weddings embody the essence of a bold red hue. In Indian culture, the color red is often worn by brides as a symbol of good luck. It is also believed to ward off any evil spirits during the wedding day. In addition to these beliefs, it is also widely thought that red is an auspicious color, associated with fertility and wealth.

The creative partners featured in this wedding editorial include some of the most skilled experts the area has to offer. With Wild Earth Designs at the helm of floral design, our sister company Branson Maxwell Photography captured every detail seen below. Subsequently allowing us the ability to curate the Indian wedding flowers for this shoot in a way that worked best for the bride and groom. But also in a way that created a chic & glowly wedding photography experience.

As can be seen, the wedding arbor, also known as a mandap, was outfitted with ombre style designed wedding florals. Having affixed the flowers to the mandap, we had an understanding of how we could best break them down later, in order to use them throughout the reception setup. Oftentimes, couples envision their wedding day with an extraordinary floral experience, however, they simply may not have the budget for outfitting their ceremony and reception. Given that, we understand how to repurpose wedding ceremony florals to reception spaces, in order to provide our couples with the luxurious wedding florals of their dreams.

For instance, all of the Indian wedding flowers you’ll see lining the grand staircase of Siempre were repurposed from the arrangements created for the ceremony aisle. Additionally, we were able to provide direction on what would work best for making the wedding cake a focal point of the reception. A three-tier all-white wedding cake sat atop a round table covered in vibrant orange linens. Lastly, at the base of the table, a floral nest accented the towering sugary confection.
