Our ethereal bride had a very specific point of view when it came to her wedding day vision. Layers of romance, wrapped up in lush florals and topped off with a modern point of view. We worked with her to design several floral components for her wedding day. Bouquets, hair pieces, boutinierres, aisle runners, a flower nest, table runners for the reception, and fresh flowers for the wedding cake. Our work with her flowers was all about striking a balance between modern and romantic, creating an overall cohesive, but impactful blend.

Aside from our work with her flowers, we knew that our bride had grand plans in mind for her wedding. In particular, after growing up as an equestrian, she wanted to honor that part of her life by riding into her wedding ceremony on a horse. This gorgeous bride, in a dreamy ethereal wedding gown, riding atop such a majestic creature made her wedding day feel like a French romance novel. Harkening back to tales of love stories long since forgotten, but brought to life on this particular day.

We knew that such a grand Utah wedding day would require only the best colorful flowers. So we wasted no time in diving right into the design process. We first considered the venue. The Lodge at Blue Sky is nestled in the mountains and provides unforgettable picturesque views in every direction. We wanted to work with color in a way that enhanced the natural beauty of the area, without detracting. The two biggest elements to consider were the floral nest and the aisle arrangements. These floral pieces, in particular, would adorn the area where our couple would say I do.

Furthermore, we looked at creating pieces for the ceremony that could easily be moved and repurposed once the ceremony was over. The floral nest was later moved to the tented reception space while the aisle arrangements were used around the couple's sweetheart table. This allowed our bride and groom's Utah wedding photos to have the best, most colorful wedding flowers in every shot.

But the best part about working on these colorful wedding flowers, for us, was the hair pieces. Our bride and each member of her wedding party were adorned with fresh flowers. The bride with fresh flowers woven into her long loose braid, and the wedding party with delicate floral crowns atop their heads. These pieces added a memorable touch to their attire for the day, while tying together the romantic and ethereal theme of this lush wedding.
